Unwanted and alone

with every single goddamn cop-out quote

You close your eyes and see a muzzle flash
as devils tempt this day to be your last
"Come on, it don't hurt, and it goes fast!" they say,
but you refuse to enter heaven that way.

And all your problems start to look like towers
you take them on one by one with a chisel and hammer

those words from pulpits never taught you
what to do when you face the impossible
